Four years ago, The Faith Center Ministries unveiled Vision Expansion, an aggressive 10-year capital improvement plan with a focus on renovations and new construction at both our Lauderhill and Sunrise campuses to support and facilitate the growing demands of this ministry. In the years since, and with the help of our many partners and friends, we have made great strides to the end that Phase 1 is now completed.

Now we turn our attention to Phase 2, where more improvements are slated for both campuses over a 12-month period. Those improvements include upgrading or renovations to such things as sanctuary seating, restrooms, air-conditioning units, sound systems, TV lighting, flooring and carpet, as well as adding exterior glass entrance doors, exterior painting and the installation of monuments at the Nob Hill Road and Commercial Boulevard entrances.

When Nehemiah desired to rebuild the city of Jerusalem, he was met with much opposition from nearby rulers. Four times, these detractors tried to get Nehemiah to stop working, but Nehemiah refused. Instead of being distracted from his assignment, Nehemiah stayed focused and committed to the task at hand. He sent word to the rulers, saying, “I am engaged in a great work, so I can’t come. Why should I stop working to come and meet with you?” (Nehemiah 6:3, New Living Translation).

Nehemiah refused to allow distractions to keep him from doing what the Lord wanted him to do. And that’s how it is for us here at The Faith Center. Like Nehemiah, we are doing a GREAT WORK, and we will not stop until it is finished! The time frame for seeing Phase 2 completed is one year. And, just as with Phase 1, we’re asking you to be part of this great project of building God’s kingdom through your faithful prayers and financial support.

It was with firm conviction and total reliance on God and His Word that we stepped out in faith to begin this project four years ago. And today we continue to stand firm, trusting Him to provide everything needed to finish. God has already begun the work, but He is expecting us to complete it. Let’s work together and finish Phase 2, so our next generation can have a place of worship, be empowered and become not just ordinary, but extraordinary people for God!
